Earlier the film was titled as Acham Thavir and planned to take with Arulnidhi, but the crew decided to opted out. The crew finally decided Nakul would be a part in the movie. And then nakul underwent a special training for basketball.
Bindu Madhavi initially signed for female lead role, but the crew not interested with her performance so she dropped. So the crew decided the newcomer mirdhula has a heroine in the film. Atul Kulkarni is playing a crucial role in the film. Siddharth Jonnalagadd play a villain role.
