About the movie Thanga Meengal :

The upcoming tamil movie is Thanga Meengal, it's an indian drama film and the movie was directed and writtened by Ram. This is the second movie for Ram, his first movie is kattradhu thamizh. Ram plays lead role as well alongside several newcomers. A joint production of Gautham Menon's Photon Kathaas and R. S. Infotainment. The film shooting is started on mid january 2011 and finished shooting on late 2011.

Movie Story :

The film about the relationship between the father and 9 year old daughter. The movie is based upon real life experience, the film is neither copied nor inspired any indian or foreign film. The director will get the film close to the audience hearts.

Saadhana role is 9 year old daughter in the film, the director says saadhana playing important role in this movie and done a fabulous job, considering her age. when she was 6 years old we started the shooting and to show intense and interesting phases of her growth it took us 3 years to complete the movie.

Actress rohini will be seen playing the mother of ram and karunaas will play a pivotal role as well. Na muthukumar written the lyrics, Arabind sara has shoot the camera and sreekar prasad does the editing.
