The upcoming 2014 american film is Transformers Age of Extinction, it's a science fiction action based film. The film is a fourth version of transformers series. It's a sequel of transformers dark of the moon, the film takes place four years after the invasion of Chicago. Michael Bay directed the movie. Joint producers are Don Murphy, Tom DeSanto, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Ian Bryce under the banner Paramount Pictures, di Bonaventura Pictures, Hasbro and distributed by Paramount pictures. The screenwriter is Ehren Kruger, who served as screenwriter since Transformers Revenge of the Fallen.

The director michael bay confirmed that Shia LaBeouf would not return for a fourth installment of the franchise. The rumour stated that Roland Emmerich, Joe Johnston, Jon Turteltaub, Stephen Sommers, Louis Leterrier and David Yates were replaced. Jason statham will be in fourth part. Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner revealed that he was able to announce the film as he was talking with Steven Spielberg, Bay and Paramount. There were rumors that the fourth and fifth installment would be shot back-to-back with Statham as the lead role, which he and Bay denied. Spielberg hoped Bay would return for a fourth installment.

The music director is Steve Jablonsky while he composed the background score for the film. Skrillex
is working on sound design for the film, saying he's creating "the
craziest Skrillex sounds I could ever make" and mentioned working on
sounds for the Dinobots.
Imagine Dragons
have written a new single specifically for the film itself, titled
"Battle Cry", that will be implemented in key parts of the film by
Michael Bay. Imagine Dragons also worked with Steve Jablonsky and Hans Zimmer to contribute additional music to the film's score.
Linkin Park's new single Until It's Gone is included in the video game soundtrack of the movie.
