Indian enterprises such as sun pictures, zee, UTV, suresh productions and adlabs are producing and distributing films.

The south indian film industry defines the four film cultures in south india they are kannada, malayalam, tamil and telugu industries.

Tamil Indian Cinemas

The kollywood is also known as tamil film industry and it's among india's three largest film industries produced number of films annually. As of 2012 hindi and telugu film industries also produced number of films annually. It's based at chennai, kodambakkam. The distributed of tamil films at various parts of Asia, South africa, North America, Europe and Oceania. The inspired tamil filmmaking in sri lanka, malaysia, singapore and canada.
