Production
In june 2012, the movie first reported. The crew said that vimal would be directed by A Sargunam simultaneously with his other project Naiyaandi. The director quickly denied, citing that his assistant Naveen would make his directorial debut with the project. Produce by Thirupathi brothers and co produce by A Sargunam. December 2012, Lakshmi menon and Rajkiran were added to the cast.
The movie schedule began on march 2013.
Music
The music director M Ghibran was opted out on jan 8 2014, replaced by N R Raghunanthan. On 2 April 2014, the shooting was wrapped up by filming a song sequence in Chettinad Health City, Kelambakkam. He composed track songs and background score.
