Jayam Ravi initially signed for male lead role, Jayam ravi done a dual role in this film. 24 years young man and 48 years old man role. The crew was decided to plan nayantara for this film, but some of the date issue nayantara dropped. After this chance goes to amala paul and she doing female lead role from both versions. Meghana Raj doing a important role in the film. But she said on Twitter that she was not acting in the film. Ragini Dwivedi roped to play for important role. Sarath Kumar and Gopinath also playing a important role in this film.

The film begining schedule it has been shot in Chalakudy and Goa. The team started his schedule on November 20 2012. Most of the shots are took place at coimbatore.

The music director for the film is G V Prakash Kumar, while he composed the entire tunes for the film. G V Prakash combined with samuthirakani and jayam ravi for first time. In telugu version arya doing jayam ravi's role. While the audio was released on December 11 2013.
